Welcome to www.Credit-Bills.Com where you can get information about credit card debt and find solutions.

Credit card bills can be devastating to families. If you think you know about standard solutions to this debt you can certainly go that route. But I have often thought that credit card companies have you deceived when it comes to just how much power they have. Certainly we know that they have the power to ruin your credit rating, temporarily, and they have power to sue you in a court of law and then try to collect the money from you. Certainly you need to consult a credit professional if you want to verify whatever I say here. I am not a councelor or an attorney, but these times call for thinking outside the box. I am good at doing that.

So, then, what you need to know is that credit card debt is not secured debt. You have not pledged any collateral and credit card companies may want you to think that you owe property. The big scam now is that many financial websites are telling people to take out consolidation loans. I saw a big UK financial site giving "advice" as to the need to consolidate and get rid of credit card debt, by substituting secured debt.

Of course this plan of action is not advocated by many experts. Many experts would cringe at the idea. You can walk away from credit card debt, and once you are not making your minimum payments three options generally confront you. The first option is that the credit card companies, being desperate greedy operators that they are, will want to settle with you. The second option is that you could get sued and you would have to decide whether to settle or declare bankruptcy or walk away. The third option is that you have changed your phone and these credit card companies and their collection agencies give up on you through the statute of limitations in your state, whatever length of time that is.

I used to respect credit card companies.

It is possible that my past respect for credit card companies was misguided. But I always had the feeling that they were charging no more than 10 percent profit on the money they borrowed from the federal reserve bank. During the time of inflation in the 1970's., usury laws, which capped rates at 12 percent in most states were overturned. But now, we have no inflation at the time of this writing, and banks borrow at 1/2 percent from the federal reserve, and yet, the banks are charging 15 to 30% interest regularly, with massive fees for being late, going as high as 50 dollars per time! This behavior is marked by the failure of our useless politicians to have any will to control these big international banks. The politicians, both left and right, have abdicated their protection of citizens and have become the servants of the big banks. My respect for them is gone, and of course my respect for the greedy credit card companies will never return.

In fact, these credit card companies make me sick to my stomach. They are destroying families and their stability as I write this article. I am deeply saddened and distressed by this behavior. If they want to make usury a simple business decision then we credit bill holders need to make walking away a simple business decision. I f your family stability is based upon getting relief from credit cards then you can simply walk away and monitor the consequences. At each turn in the road you will have decisions to make. But don't be afraid, because there are no debtor's prisons and the collection agencies will lie with threats to you.

So friends, be brave, and study the issue and use my information in a positive way if you are able to do so! When you think of it, government protection against usury was in place in state governments as recently as 1978, so this little experiment in credit card abuse of the consumer is a relatively new event, but problems with bank irresponsibility toward their consumer customers is getting worse.

That banks would try to exert massive power over the debtors of this nation in ways not even contemplated by many 30 years ago, is a testament to the consolidation of their power on the world stage. There are links to my other websites that will show you just how this came to pass. Make certain that you understand that you are struggling against a gluttonous beast, not a civil banking system. Civility left the banking system along time ago and is getting worse. If you let these people make your lives miserable they will win.

From this link

"To the shock of the then-governor of South Dako- ta, William Janklow, Wriston called unexpectedly to offer the state a deal. In exchange for assurances that South Dakota would abolish its usury laws and invite Citibank into the state, Wriston would move Citibank’s credit card operations, and ultimately 3,000 high paying jobs, to Sioux Falls.

South Dakota quickly passed the legislation needed (Citibank’s attorneys even wrote it) in an emergency session of its legislature. Thus, Citibank and South Dakota have the distinction of being regarded today as the parents of the modern, high interest credit card. As a result, the industry that began in 1950 with the Diner’s Club card and its quaint, low interest rate is now one of the most profi table in the country."

Now that Citibank is in the throws of death or near death, it is just really impossible to feel sorry for the organization. My daughter once worked for Citibank and has told me that their aggressive marketing of credit cards to their depositors bordered on the bizarre. They are paying for these decisions and lack of moral restraint.
